Hurricane Preparedness Checklist — Part 1
Patio Area:
-
Please secure lawn chairs and tables
on your patio - these items need be brought into your home or garage
as flying furniture can result in heavy damages to your and/or your
neighbor's property.
- Portable Barbecue Grills
need to be placed in a safe away from any wind. Preferably in your
garage.
- Planters and knickknacks that can
be blown over by the wind should be taken down or removed and
brought into your home, garage or placed in a cabinet on your patio
- ANYTHING GLASS should be taken
down or put away -- items can hurl into your pool and you may end up
with broken glass. Injury could occur or it may result in your
having to drain the pool.

placed in a garage.
-

the wind and become projectiles that can produce major damage to your
property as well as your neighbor's.
-
Please secure
Dinghys, Jet-Skis, Canoes and other light items as they can be
torn away.
-
